Vehicle Research Database

In order to support various research institutions and projects, TSS has started to construct a database for vehicle and charge infrastructure field test data. The database is general and of SQL type, each project can specify what data is stored and how they fit together. However, the same parameters of the projects are stored in an uniform way so that for example location, ambient temperature or velocity have the same identification for all projects. The resolution and sample rate along with the data source (type of logger, etc) are also stored in the database. The database will support wireless data transfer.

The main purpose of the database is to make field test data from different projects available for researchers within academy, industry and authorities.

At the moment the following kind of data is being transferred to the database:

• Data from PHEV aftermarket conversions operating in Gothenburg and Stockholm
• Car movement data from conventional cars collected in the swedish research projetc "Car movement pattern data"
• The Swedish data contribution to the Worldwide Harmonized Light-vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP)
